In contrast to yesterdays post digging up a past favorite, I've decided to go with something new today, at least new in it's current form.
"Painted Mars" is a great example of the kind of reclamation projects made possible through Photoshop. As you can see, the original photo is quite washed out, overexposed and just plain bad. Some tweaks with the colour and few filters and tricks and we have something much more interesting, and much less conventional.
